Digital Puppet is an interactive project featuring a mechanical glove that controls a holographic display of a dancing 3D character. Inspired by the fluidity of motion and interactivity, this project allows users to engage with a 3D-modeled unicorn character whose dance movements respond to specific hand motions detected by sensors on the glove. Jiayi Zhou designed and programmed the glove using Arduino, which translates hand gestures into real-time animations, creating a lifelike, responsive experience. The project combines 3D modeling, motion capture, and holographic display design to deliver an immersive 360-degree view of the dancing character. By blending hardware prototyping with digital animation, *Digital Puppet* showcases Jiayi’s skills in interactive media and innovative storytelling, turning user movements into a dynamic visual performance.
